When i was in art college, I major in abstract painting but after I graduated my works slowly my painting moved to realism. Few years ago, I had this idea to combine the two styles of paintings together. I did a series of paintings with the main subject in the realistic style and the back ground in a painterly abstract style.
My series got very good respond, many commented how much they love the background. I sold a few of them however the two I like the most had remind unsold.
last week, as I looked at them again thinking maybe there were something lacking in those two paintings so I decided to add the humming bird to this one.
